SUMMARY:Introduction to the legal framework for data sharing and data trusts
DESCRIPTION:Gegenstand des dieses Mal in englischer Sprache angebotenen Workshops sind die rechtlichen Rahmenbedingungen für Datentreuhänder\, wie sie durch den Data Governance Act (DGA) gesetzt werden.  \nIn der praktischen Anwendung werfen die Vorschriften zur Weiterverwendung von Daten im Besitz öffentlicher Stellen\, zu Datenvermittlungsdiensten\, die u.a. Registrierungspflichten unterliegen\, und zu freiwilligen Datenspenden (Datenaltruismus) eine Vielzahl von Anwendungs- und Auslegungsfragen auf. In dem Workshop werden die zentralen Anforderungen des DGA und ihr Zusammenspiel mit anderen Regelungen des Datenrechts beleuchtet und im gemeinsamen Austausch mögliche Anwendungsfragen diskutiert. \nThe subject of this workshop\, which will be held in English\, is the legal framework for data intermediary services as set out in the Data Governance Act (DGA).  \nIn practical application\, the regulations on the reuse of data held by public authorities\, on data intermediary services that are subject to registration requirements\, among other things\, and on voluntary data donations (data altruism) raise a number of questions regarding application and interpretation.
